Lagan Brick comprises the Lagan companies which previously traded as Kingscourt Brick and Flemings Fireclays.
The tradition of brick making at Kingscourt goes back over 80 years. We continue to manufacture with the region's unique Keuper Marl clay which gives our bricks subtle tones and textures combined with strength and durability.
Clay manufacturing commenced in Flemings in the 1930s. The Shale Clays combined with modern technology at our state of the art production plant allow us to make a diverse range of products from standard wire cut bricks to our new range of Retro bricks. Included in our product range are chimney systems, fired-clay facing bricks, flue-liners and chimney pots. We have also joined forces with the leading brick manufacturers in Europe to produce our exclusive Barclay range.
Our bricks have been used on many national award winning projects.

Kingscourt is one of the oldest brickworks in Ireland. We manufacture an extensive range of quality products using our unique Keuper Marl clay which we quarry at our manufacturing facility in Co.Cavan. The Keuper Marl clay, which is exclusive to us, gives great strength and durability while providing subtle tones and textures in the manufacturing of our diverse brick range. We provide our customers with an expert nationwide sales and technical service team with experienced personnel located at centres throughout Ireland. |

Flemings Fireclays is situated in The Swan, which is a small village in Co. Laois. It was founded in 1935 and is now an integral member of the Lagan companies. At Flemings, we have always recognised the endurance and beauty of clay. Since its inception Flemings has operated one of the most modern clay plants in Ireland and the UK. To maintain the company's position at the forefront of clay technology a new state of the art production facility has been built, offering a comprehensive range of clay products, all manufactured to the highest European Standards. Included in the product range is fired-clay facing bricks, flue-liners and chimney pots. All our products are backed by expert service support from our nationwide sales team.
