As a prominent feature on the Kinnegad landscape, we are proud of our position in the local community and keenly aware of our responsibilities to minimise any disturbance to our local community.

We have a formal Good Neighbour Policy which addresses our key objectives as responsible neighbours.

In conjunction with this philosophy, we also run a range of informative initiatives which include Open Days, school visits and group visits upon request.

In response to the large number of requests for financial support that were coming into Lagan Cement on a regular basis and in a bid to formalise any financial donations made to the community, senior management decided to set up the Lagan Community Fund Committee in 2005.  The sole function of the committee is to oversee the funding of good causes in the local community.
